DESCRIPTION:Hidden Bittern and Unglam Folkestone present…\n \nThe chance to catch three of Folkestone’s finest\, catchiest\, noisiest\, most fun\, most female bands TOGETHER on one Saturday night bill\, plus DJ NICONICO (Bimbeaux Collective).\n \nThis is an absolute celebration of Folkestone’s grassroots music scene. All three bands started playing less than 18 months ago. Boom.\n \nHidden Bittern are Folkestone’s premier bird-based punk band. Their catchy indie pop will ruffle yr feathers\, take you through the Twilight movies in three minutes\, and leave you spinning like you’re on a wheely chair.\n \nMiss-Fit Sisters and SHE-BITE came roaring out of the Unglamorous Music movement in Folkestone. These all-women bands play post-punk and garage punk\, where the only rules are: make music and have fun!\n \nCome and experience some proper local energy and inventiveness.\n \nThere will be: shouting\, bad dancing\, silly lyrics\, fashion rebellion\, songs about IVF\, teen vampires and fat.\n \nThere will be no: twiddling your thumbs between bands.\n \nOh\, and DJ NICONICO has been given one word to go on after the bands: ‘BANGERS’.\n \n£8\, £6 concs.
