At The Music Workshop, we believe music has the power to bring people together and transform lives. Located in the heart of Folkestone, our space is more than just a venue – it’s a vibrant community hub where music lovers of all ages and abilities come to connect, create, and thrive.
We’re passionate about championing grassroots music, supporting local artists, and inspiring the next generation of musicians. From our hands-on workshops and programmes designed to get people of all ages into music, to our regular gigs showcasing incredible talent, we’re here to nurture creativity and celebrate the magic of live performance.

Parking
There are free on-street parking spaces just outside The Music Workshop and in the surrounding roads, and there is also a Sainsbury's Car Park nearby that offers free parking for 2 hours.
Accessibility
Step-free access is available from the entrance into the venue. The internal doorway is approx. 70cm wide. There is a small lip at the entrance and a small cable cover/lip inside the venue. The toilet can be accessed by wheelchair, but it is not a fully accessible toilet – limited space and currently no grab rails.
